You get the song you meant

Orpheus checks the title, artist and length against the real release. It skips remixes, sped-up edits, live recordings and hour-long loops unless you ask for them.

Pick one of the suggestions /play shows as you type, and Orpheus knows exactly which release you mean.

Type the word and you get that version

Orpheus skips these unless your request includes them. “Live” only counts when it describes a recording, like “(Live)” or “Live at Wembley”, so a song called Live Forever is fine.

/play query: heroes tonight
Gets the original.
/play query: heroes tonight sped up
Gets the sped-up one.

If a song can't play, Orpheus tries to find it another way before moving on.

Play the links you already have

Paste a Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Audius or Vimeo link into /play, or a direct link to a radio stream or an audio file. Audiomack, Shazam, JioSaavn, Genius and Last.fm song links work too.

Orpheus reads the song from the link and matches it to the same song. If it can't confirm a match, it says so and queues nothing. A playlist or album link queues up to 200 tracks. To keep a longer playlist, save it with /playlist import.

Change how it sounds, for everyone listening

Pick a preset to see the command. /volume level: 80 sets the volume, anywhere from 0 to 200.

You run

/filter preset:bassboost

It applies to everything playing. Picking another replaces it, so they never stack.

Volume

Add remember: True to make a volume the server's default. Saving a default needs Manage Server, and there's a slider for it on the dashboard too.

Orpheus can skip the parts of a track that aren’t music. /admin segments changes that.

Add Orpheus to your server

Free to add. It asks only for the permissions it uses, never Administrator.
